My husband Steven and I are proud owners of Jennian Homes Auckland North. Our region stretches from Auckland to Langs Beach, encompassing the places we love most — established Auckland neighbourhoods, growing communities, countryside and coast. I’m bringing my background in interior design together with Jennian Homes’ decades of building experience to create a design-led way to build that also keeps you on time and on budget. Whether you’re building your first family home, moving north for a different pace of life, creating a coastal retreat, downsizing, developing land or finally building the home you’ve always imagined, we’d love to help you make it happen.

What if life could feel a little more like the weekend?
There’s something special about life north of the Bridge. Beaches, bush, beautiful small towns, thriving communities, farmers’ markets, vineyards and a little more room to breathe — all while still being connected to Auckland. From the North Shore through Orewa, Warkworth and Matakana to Mangawhai, the region offers an incredible variety of ways to live. For us, building here isn’t just about houses. It’s about helping people create a home around the lifestyle they really want to live.

Great design starts early in the build process, with understanding how you live. How the morning sun reaches the kitchen. Where everyone drops their bags. Whether you need a second living space or would rather have a bigger kitchen. Where you’ll sit with a coffee. How much storage you really need — and what your dream garage scenario is! It’s space to be together, and space to be apart.
My role as a designer allows us to bring that thinking into the building process from the beginning. Because all those seemingly small decisions combine to elevate your everyday. You’re not simply choosing a house, you’re creating your home.
About us
Meet Shelley + Steve
Jennian Homes Auckland North is locally owned and operated by Shelley and Steven Ferguson. I design homes across New Zealand, and Steven comes from the high-performance sport and coaching world. But our biggest achievement is our family, and we understand how important it is when you’re planning a home for yours.
We know that building can feel exciting, overwhelming and sometimes intimidating. We want you to feel informed, listened to and looked after throughout the process — and to end up with a home that elevates your everyday.

Budget should come first.
One of our biggest beliefs is that budget should come first, rather than be a reveal once the plans are finished. We like to get comfortable with what you can actually afford and how we can design the best possible home for that. Our approach is to talk about budget from the beginning, understand where your priorities lie, and help you make informed decisions about where to invest and where you can save.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you talk to us. In fact, that’s exactly what the first conversation is for.
